To apply for a place on the Durham school please complete the form below. The cost of the course is ₤ 1200 for PhD students and PDRAs, ₤ 1400 for academics and facilities staff and ₤ 1600 for industial colleagues. This fee includes registration,
accomodation, all meals (except dinner on the free afternoon) for the whole course and a full set of lecture notes. We hope to be able to offer a limited number of bursaries for both UK and overseas applicants. Please
indicate in the registration form if you wish to apply for one of these bursaries. Please note the school will focus on the background theory in relation to single crystal X-ray diffraction studies as applied to chemical and material science.
Places are limited and assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis. However, and in case of over-subscription,
the organisers may have to prioritise applications (e.g. maximum number
of attendees per institution/group, to maintain gender balance in line with that currently found more widely in science). Submission of a registration form
does not guarantee your place on the course. Places will be confirmed
by e-mail soon after your registration. If for any reason you wish to withdraw your
application please contact [email protected] as soon as possible.
